What a lovely helpful place. I didn't know the names of the items I wanted and did the female description and Julie behind the counter deciphered and found all the items I wanted, another lady customer came in and also wanted help in deciding what to buy and Dean helped her buy and fill a small toolbox as a gift for her daughter. I am beginning to see a trend of female DIYers here. We ended up having a lovely discussion accompanied by the complimentary coffee. What a totally pleasant experience this was. Well done.

They weren't volunteering any help. Really lacked interpersonal skills. I had forgotten to note the code of the items I needed but I did have a full description. I was handed a catalogue to find the item codes. I had to ask if someone could lift the radiators into my car but was told that they weren't supposed to by the saleswoman. I clearly wouldn't able to lift them so they had 2 choices. Thankfully, the chap who pushed them out put them into my car.

Great to have a new Screwfix closer to home. Usual excellent selection of products at competitive prices, and nice to be able to pop in with a problem and ask 'what have you got to fix this'. Click and collect is handy too, especially when you're caught halfway through a tricky DIY project and realise you've run out of something.

It's great to finally have a screwfix store that's local and pricing itself better since tool station came on the scene which is next door, the staff were quick and helpful with what I ordered ?
